There is this rule in newborn photography that babies should be photographed within the first two weeks. Why? Because (typically) after two weeks babies become more alert and are harder to get to sleep for the cute little sleepy baby poses. Also, after two weeks they say that babies lose that flexibility from the womb so they don't curl up as naturally. Well, sweetheart Olivier was 5 weeks old and one of the EASIEST babies I've photographed all year. He slept like a champ for me the whole time. His Mommy said that he kept her up all night the night before so her loss was picture day gain. Yes, a bad night for mom and dad the night before photo day almost always guarantees a good session (sorry Mom and Dad).
I am a newborn photographer located in Charlotte, NC. Newborn photography is my passion and I'd be honored to photograph your baby. Now booking newborns due through March 2020.
