Charlotte Maternity Photographer / Spectacular and Adventurous Maternity Session

So much to do, so little time.  We packed so much into this Charlotte Maternity Session that we needed to spread it out over two evenings (because I only shoot outdoor session when the light is best for beautiful images).  This outdoorsy, adventure loving couple was so much fun to work with because they were up for everything.  We shot this session in and around gorgeous Mountain Island lake.  Getting to the water required a bit more of a hike than most pregnant women are up for but Kerri was all for it.  She hiked, scaled a big rock, floated in a canoe and waded in the shallow waters.  I loved it so much and would do this session again in a heartbeat.  We were even visited by a raccoon during the session (don't worry, he was more interested in a nearby trash can than he was with us).  It was important to Kerri and Jamie to include their dogs in their session and logistically we were having a hard time figuring out how to manage two very large dogs, hiking, wading and canoe riding so it seemed best to schedule a second short session the next day with the pups.  That evening was spectacular too.  My favorite part was that the pink sky matched her gown.  That sky really was that pink.  Make sure you scroll all the way through to the end because you don't want to miss a single shot!
