As an artist, I love the creative side of running a photography business. I love working with my wonderful families, creating “family art”, and EVEN editing. What I struggle with (if I am being completely honest) is blogging. I am usually very behind in my blog. I literally have to psyche myself up for it. I am not a writer. I wish that I could just show the photos and tell the stories visually. Maybe I need a ghostwriter—ha! For this reason and also because of the sheer number of families currently stacking up and waiting to be edited, I am combining the last three families from my first day of mini sessions into one blog post. (I hope that they don’t mind.)
These families are all tops in my book…beautiful, loving, real and fun! I love all of the pictures that came out of these sessions. I had so much fun getting little ones to “tickle mommy and daddy”. If you’re a photographer and reading this, I highly recommend that trick. They can’t resist! I also enjoyed telling the Dad’s to whisper something into their lady’s ear and make them blush—it works every time. And for the older kids...just make them hug or stare at each other…you’re bound to get some giggles!
I hope that you enjoyed my favorites from my last three families of my first mini session date. A bunch of cuties for sure!!
